Julian Cordova


About Me

Julian Cordova is a Latino DC based Lighting Designer originally from Orlando, Florida. Recent graduate from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Julian is now seeking design work in DC as a part of the Kenan Fellowship at the Kennedy Center. Recently, Julian has designed Winter Dance, Photana: Overgrown, and The Wild Party at UNCSA. He was selected for the ETC Fred Foster Mentorship (2024), served as an Electrics Apprentice at Santa Fe Opera (2024), and worked as a Lighting Design Fellow at Hangar Theatre (2023). Julian is passionate about telling stories that speak to the immediate reality of our world, and invite us to learn, connect, and heal.
